I started Oak&Feather in 2017 as an outlet for my creative passions and as a way to deal with postpartum anxiety. Over time, I began to share my journey online, and connected with woodworkers, customers, and other moms looking for someone sharing the same experiences in motherhood. After receiving a scroll saw in December 2017, I expanded my skills into hand cut signs, logos, and decor, all while sharing my successes and failures in balancing entrepreneurship and motherhood. It’s not always easy, it’s messy and chaotic. But it’s rewarding and real, and to me, it’s pretty perfect.
