I just wanted to take an opportunity to thank you for your passion and vision for resurrecting the wood shows here in Ontario. Not being connected to this industry for as many years as some of my colleagues I was exposed to the rapid decline of wood shows across the province. Dwindling attendance and the explosion of online sale seemed to doom the idea of local woodworking shows. The constant through that whole process was the Hamilton Wood Show. Modest in size but extremely well run, it was the one constant in our evolving industry. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your vision and hard work that has revitalized the shows in Toronto, Woodstock and, no doubt, any city you choose to bring back the idea of a local woodshow. As someone who has made my livelihood in this industry, I would be remiss in not thanking you for your dedication and hard work. Just know that it does not go unnoticed. I spent much of my adult life in the sales and marketing fields and I must compliment you for the way you have re-energized these shows. I have rarely missed a woodworking show. The appetite for hand crafted items is better than ever. I expect your shows to mirror this interest as more younger people get involved with woodworking. I want to wish you continued success as you expand your show agenda.
